they have an adorable store front on 5th avenue in park slope, but the art studio in the back is where the magic happens.
julia instructed me to draw a simple picture that we could transfer on to a t-shirt for olivia. my first attempt was this silly little bunny rabbit and we all decided it was the winner. good thing all of that magna-doodle drawing finally paid off. ;)
next, julia helped me use their AMAZING light table to outline my drawing in hot wax on to a t-shirt.
then, it was time to add some color!
olivia was still a little too young to help, but i did ask her opinion on which colors to use and she added a few dots here and there.
a few days later we picked up our super cute t-shirt! olivia was very proud to model it for me. we got a size up from her current size so that she can grow in to it.
isn't it cute? i think it would be SO MUCH FUN to have a birthday party here for slightly older kids. maybe in the 5-10 year old range? if you are in brooklyn, definitely go and check them out!
thanks again to julia & robyn for having us! we had a great time!
