eataly
i finally made it to eataly a couple of weeks ago for dinner & drinks at birreria on the top floor.
lots of beautiful packaging to ogle on the main floor.
and so many pretty bottles on the shelves.
we were greeted by a lovely view of the empire state building when we got off the elevator.
and i found a really special view of the flatiron buiding from just the right angle from just the right corner.
good wine, good food, good dessert. good times with good friends.
grand central
grand central turned 100 recently and they've got giant numbers up in the windows. i happened to catch a glimpse of the beautiful morning light the other day and stopped to take some shots. when the sunlight streams in like that, it just makes my heart happy. love living in this amazing city.
a dose of happy color
the grand central branch of the new york public library has some very happy artwork on display right now. chelsea hrynick browne's quilt-like creations are brightening my day each time i pass by.
